Relieving Chronic Back Pain
You may be a candidate for the VAxD treatment

Are you suffering from back or neck pain? Well, you are not alone. It's estimated that 90 percent of Americans are afflicted with back or neck pain at some point in their lives.

Too often, individuals with excruciating back or neck pain find no relief and are faced with limited options-spinal surgery or physical therapy. One solution is Vax-D an innovative, non-surgical, FDA-registered procedure designed to relieve chronic back and/or neck pain.

How do you know if Vax-D treatment is right for you? Follow this flowchart to see if these treatments seem all too familiar. If so, you may be a candidate for Vax-D.

1- Back or Neck Injury Occurs
You visit an internist who diagnoses the problem as a sprain, strain or arthritis. After prescribing pain and anti-inflammatory medication, you don't experience any relief. You are then sent for an MRI.

2- MRI Performed
The MRI shows a herniated, bulging or degenerated disc. You are referred to an orthopedic surgeon.

3- Options Presented
The orthopedic surgeon provides you with two options - surgery or physical therapy.

4- Option Chosen
Physical therapy is chosen, however you continue to experience excruciating low back pain. You are then sent to see a neurosurgeon who provides you with the same two options-physical therapy or surgery.

You visit another physical therapist, but their methods still do not relieve the pain. You are referred to a pain management specialist who gives you epidural steroid injections to help the pain subside.

Unfortunately that only provides temporary relief and you try chiropractic, then acupuncture, then physical therapy again and the cycle becomes never-ending.

5- What’s Next?
If after all of these treatments, low back or neck pain still persists, and everyday functions such as walking or sitting in a chair are almost impossible, call us.
